My recent cinematography work includes Up the River with Acid (2023), a film about a man whose life is upended by dementia in rural France which won the Grand Prix award at Cinéma du Réel. I also directed Ferroequinology (2022), a film about two railroad photographers traveling across America which screened at the Slamdance Film Festival.

Over the years I have been involved with various short film and artistic projects, including: How to Get Rid of Hiccups (2023), Jimmy Sails Away (2023), Two Stars Short (2022), Pull (2019), Hôtel de la Comète (2018), Renaissance (2018), In Light of Moving Images (2017), Spent (2017), Not Waving (2016), Life in Body (2016), One Tw*t (2016), Elderflower (2016), L’Esprit de l’Escalier (2015), Guy and Doll (2015), Amelia's Letter (2015), Milk (2015), Léthé (2014), Fishcakes & Cocaine (2013), Battlecock (2013), Launderette (2010).

I studied filmmaking at the Screen Academy Scotland and then completed a PhD in cinema at the Digital Cultures Research Centre. Alongside my creative work, I teach in the film department at Edinburgh College of Art.
